How to work through an advice in Wattix
How do you back up energy advice your client can check? By starting from the connection's 15-minute data, making the assumptions visible and putting scenarios side by side. Wattix works through every scenario in 15-minute steps with the same mathematical optimisation, so the differences between scenarios come from your choices, not from the model.
- Your client's situation
- You load the connection's 15-minute data, as an Excel file in the Wattix template or as CSV, and set the limits of the connection and the energy contract. If an expansion has no meter data, you build a profile in the Data Studio. Every assumption is a setting in the scenario, so you can show it later.
- The scenarios
- In each scenario you add assets or change the contract: a battery, solar panels, charge points, a generator or a capacity contract. Wattix works through each scenario over the whole period of the data and optimises the dispatch of controllable assets at the lowest cost within the limits of the connection.
- The outcome
- For each scenario the total costs, import and export, the peaks, the days with an exceedance and the self-sufficiency, side by side in one comparison. From that you make a report in your own house style, with your own commentary, and share it with your client as a PDF.
